To A Friend

Have you ever sat in the dark looking at the stars
Wondering who your real friend is?
Will you ever notice the way he or she needs your help?
Think! Who do you leave behind knowing that
He or she will wait for you to come back?

This friend is real and the friendship between
The both of you is not just an illusion.
This is for a good friend of mine.

To a friend like you, I pray each night that
I'll be able to repay you and help you.
I know that a person has a bigger heart than mine
And I know that that person will always be you.

You help me correct my errors through time
Never complaining of anything, you still help me
Develop my ideas through papers knowing that
It�ll make me happy to have something done.

You gave me advices knowing that
I won�t even do as what you told me to not do.
I�m sure that of all the friends you have, that I am
The only one who bothers you the most.

Accept this as an apology of me, knowing that
I still will be acting like before, knowing that
Even through time I still am a person who
Might never change through pain.
