Imaginary twins

There was a time I wanted to say that you were mine
But I couldn't tell you that, face to face.
So I started to call you my twin sis,
Like that you would be mine for years to come.

I wish I could have enough courage to tell you
How beautiful you are, but I never did.
I introduced you to everyone I knew
To show you how important you are to me.

You never seemed to care about me nor the things I do,
But somehow, you would always talk to me.
No matter how terrible and painful our day was,
You were always here to make it better.

I guess, there're a lot of things I don't know about you,
But this doesn't stop me from being your twin bro.
And now, I'm afraid to lose you more than anything,
Even thought I know we'll never be together.
